  How much does a client owe?

You can quickly and easily find out how much a client owes using Responsive Time Logger.  There are two ways to do this:

1) How much a client owes on the next invoice.  This is for time you've recorded that has not yet been billed and will appear on the next invoice.

2) How much a client owes on one or more past invoices.  This is for invoices you have sent out, or time that has been billed.

1) How much a client owes on the next invoice

After you have recorded billable time for your client, you can quickly and easily find out how much they will owe on the next invoice in just a few mouse clicks:

1.	Click: Invoice and then Automatic Invoice Filter

2.	Select the Client from the list and click OK

3.	Click View and then Summary

4.	The Time Record Summary report, similar to the one below, shows you the Total Fee: which is how much the client will owe on the next invoice.

2) How much a client owes on one or more past invoices.

After you have invoiced your client, you can quickly and easily find out how much they owe using the Aging Report.

To view this report:

1.	Click: Invoice and then Accounts Receivable...

2.	On the Accounts Receivable window, select the Client from the drop-down list.  In this example we use "AR Software."

3.	On the Accounts Receivable window, click the Aging... button.

This window reports the total amount owed by a client.  It also shows what portions of that total were billed in the last 30 days, 31-60 days, etc.
