Below is an example of how you could keeping track of your time on paper. Across the top of the page, is a heading that includes the columns for "From," "To," "Client," and "Description." On each line below the heading is a record of what you did and when you did it.
In the paper example above there are three "Time Records". Each is a record of what you did and when you did it. The set of Time Records is what we call a Time Records List. Responsive Time Logger applies these basic concepts to how the software is designed. Just like the paper system, Time Logger has columns with headings, Time Records, and a Time Records List. Here's what these would look like if you had been using Time Logger instead of paper and pencil:
